The Grace Pinnacle Quilting Frame
New Smooth, Seamless Tracking; No Metal on Metal. The key to the entire system is how the
sewing machine tracks. With the Pinnacle your machine rests on two specially designed, sturdy
plates that track perfectly with ball-bearing rollers for an incredibly smooth ride. There is no
wobbling. These plates allow for up to 16 inches of forward/reverse travel in the work area.
The only limit to your reach is your own machine. The carriage accommodates any machine
with up to an 18"; throat space. It provides enhanced stability and locks your machine in place
with four base clamps.
Janome 1600P
Long arm quilting machine with 13" throat space offers versatility with a reasonable price tag!
Janome's 1600P Straight-Stitch Series Delivers Serious Speed To The Home Market
The 1600P, 1600P-DBX, and 1600P-DB offer consumers a range of features:
MAHWAH, N.J. – Sewing at up to 1,600 stitches per minute, the new 1600P Straight Stitch Series
from Janome has the fastest straight stitch on the home market. But more important than being twice
as fast as any home machine, the 1600 Professional Series offers power and performance without the
awkward bulk and noise of industrial models. Quilters, designers, decorators and seamstresses can enjoy
professional grade results with Janome precision and quality. These machines are even tough and reliable
enough for the heavy use of dry cleaning and tailoring/alteration shops.
The 1600P Series machines offer a variety of time-saving features like an independent bobbin winding
motor (so you can sew while you're winding bobbins); a side-loading, industrial rotary hook; threading
diagrams printed on the machine itself; and an automatic needle threader. The presser foot can hold
your fabric with an ultra firm 11 lbs. of pressure. And a thread pre-tension regulator keeps thread feeding
smoothly at the highest of speeds.
The 1600P series represents a new milestone in precision engineering. For a sewing machine to make a
single stitch, dozens of parts must move in close synchronization. For a machine to sew at a rate of just
ten stitches per second, those same parts must move with almost perfect precision. So it's truly a technical
breakthrough when a machine can stitch at nearly 30 stitches per second and do it with the quiet ease of a
Janome.
The machines are built to perform under the rigors of a professional setting, such as dry cleaning and
alteration shops where repetitive seams are standard and quick turnaround is a must. Garment sewers
will love the precise power through all types of fabric and the large (9” x 5”), clean bed space free of
oil holes. Quilters and home dec sewers will enjoy the project-finishing speed.
Everything on the 1600P Series machines is built for speed, starting with the bobbin. First, the independent
bobbin winder works separately from the main motor, allowing the user to fill the next bobbin while sewing.
Second, you can remove and replace the bobbin from the side, so you don't have to move your work from
under the needle. A knee lift allows you to raise the presser foot while keeping your hands on your work.
And the automatic needle threader makes setup a breeze.
At speeds of over 1,000 stitches per minute it's vital the thread feeds smoothly. To achieve this, the 1600P
Series has a Pre-Tension Thread Regulator that takes the kinks out of the thread even before it goes through
the tension mechanism. To help the operator cope with all that speed, Janome has developed the Liquid
Response Foot Control. With 30% more range of motion than a standard foot control and a remarkably
smooth feel, the user always feels in control. It's possible to accelerate up to top speed in one fluid motion
and then slow to a stop with equal smoothness.
Janome America is the largest subsidiary of Janome Sewing Machine Company of Tokyo, which produces more
than one million sewing machines annually as well as a line of related sewing products and embroidery software.
It is a category leader in innovation, and Janome sewing machines are recognized throughout the industry for
their ease-of-use and unsurpassed stitch quality.
Welcome TinLizzie18!!
18" Arm
Your Tin Lizzie 18 has an arm lenght of 18". This is the space from the needle to the back of the machine.
This is important to you as it will allow you to use 12" patterns when quilting even on a king size quilt when
you set your frame up with 10 foot pipes. Also if your quilt is made up of 12 inch blocks then you will be able
to quilt each of your 12 inch blocks without having to turn the quilt.
Stitch Regulator
Automatic Stitch Regulator
Every stitch is the same length and remains the same length even when you change quilting speed or diretion.
It ensures uniform quality from the first stitch to the last.
Auto Needle Positioner
Quilter has the ablility to have the machine stop in the needle up position or needle down position. it minimizes
bending or breaking needles and allows for free movement of machine.
Bobbin
Extra Large Bobbin
Tin Lizzie 18 uses a "M" bobbin which is larger than the "L" bobbin used on home machines. This allows for
more thread to be placed on the bobbin to keep the number of bobbin changes down.

Built in Bobbin Winder
Tin Lizzie 18 has a built-in bobbin winder. This bobbin winder will let you wind a bobbin while you quilt.
You can also winded bobbins before your project by keeping the thread out of the needle and using the
speed regulator to run the machine. The built-in bobbin winder also keeps the bobbin winder close so that
you don't have to look around for it. This also keeps the number of electrical cords you have in your
sewing room down to a minimum.
