Robinson sew & vac has been owed and operated by the same couple for 31 years . We currently employ 3 people with 2 ladies that teach special classes on the latest techniques and trends. Robinson Sew and Vac- We are a full line sewing machine and vacuum cleaner store located in Robinson IL. The owner, Carl Wilson started working for the Singer sewing machine company in April 1966: first as a salesman, then manager, and then sales manager. He left Singer in 1975 in April, and opened his own store here in Robinson, Il. as a Singer Dealer. In 1998 we added Janome sewing machines, and in 2004 we added Babylock sewing machines . With 3 full lines of machines we make sure to stay on top of any new item going on in the country in sewing machines.
We offer many classes to keep our customers in the know about new techniques and ideas.
As for Vacuum cleaners we are dealer for Oreck, Simplicity, Dyson, Eureka, Fuller, and Hoover, and we repair and service all brands of sewing machines and vacuums. We do warranty work for all the sewing machines that we sell, and all Singer machines from any customer. Software for embroidery sewing machines is another avenue that we stay on top of as it changes almost daily! Every machine purchased from my store comes with lessons-- as many as it takes to get you using your new machine with ease.
